Privacy-first design: CruisePro is built for field work with a local-first storage approach. No third-party ad/tracking SDKs are used. Your cruise records remain on your device by default.

Your privacy matters. This policy explains how CruisePro (“we”) processes, stores, and shares information when you use the mobile application.
2. Information We Process
CruisePro processes the information you provide that is necessary for the app to function:
- Cruise data: Tract/stand/plot/tree records, your measurements, and in-app settings.
- Location data (feature-based / optional): Used only when you grant permission, for plot navigation and saving plot coordinates. We do not use location data for advertising or tracking.
- On-device diagnostics: If enabled in your iOS settings, Apple may provide anonymized crash/performance diagnostics.
What we do not use:

- ❌ Advertising Identifier (IDFA)
- ❌ Behavioral profiling/segmentation
3. How We Use Information
We use information only for the purposes below:
- App functionality: Creating/editing cruises, summaries/reports, offline workflow.
- Navigation: If you grant location permission, navigating to plots and saving plot coordinates.
- Stability: If enabled on iOS, using anonymized crash diagnostics to improve reliability.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising. CruisePro is designed so the core workflow can operate without internet.
4. Storage and Security
CruisePro data is stored locally on your device by default (e.g., a local database). If you uninstall the app, local data may be removed.

- Plot coordinates (when you choose to save them)
iOS protects app data at the device level. System features such as device passcode and encryption help protect data stored on your device.
5. Third-Party Services
CruisePro may use the following services:
- Apple App Store: Distribution and updates.
- Apple diagnostics/crash reports: Anonymized diagnostics only if enabled in your iOS settings.
No ads, no tracking: CruisePro does not use third-party ad networks or tracking infrastructure.
6. Children’s Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Data Retention
Local cruise data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Anonymized diagnostics/crash reports (if enabled) are governed by Apple’s policies and can be managed in iOS settings.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You can:
- Enable/disable Location permission in iOS settings
- Delete cruise data within the app
- Uninstall the app to remove local data
- Contact us with privacy questions
9. International Users
CruisePro aims to comply with applicable privacy laws (e.g., GDPR/CCPA). You may have additional rights depending on your jurisdiction.
