Motigate Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Motigate mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the developer of Motigate regarding your use of the App.

2. Description of Service

Motigate is a mobile application that provides daily inspiring quotes through the app interface and iOS widgets. The service includes:

• Daily quote content updated twice per day (morning and afternoon)
• iOS widget functionality for displaying quotes on your device's home screen
• Local storage of quotes on your device

3. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Download, install, and use the App on your personal iOS device
• Use the App solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes
• Display quotes through the App and iOS widgets

4. Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service

5. Content and Intellectual Property

The quotes provided through Motigate are curated from various public domain and licensed sources. While we strive to ensure all content is properly attributed and legally available, we do not claim ownership of individual quotes.

The App itself, including its design, functionality, and code, is protected by intellectual property laws and remains our property.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not use the App to transmit any harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Respect the intellectual property rights of others
• Maintain the security of your device and any associated accounts

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• All quotes will be available at all times
• The App will be compatible with all devices or iOS versions
• Any defects will be corrected

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or relating to your use of the App.

10. Updates and Modifications

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App Store or other appropriate means. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

12. App Store Terms

Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and conditions of the Apple App Store. In case of conflict between these Terms and App Store terms, the App Store terms shall prevail with respect to your use of the App Store.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
