CruisePro is an offline-first timber cruising app that helps you capture tract/stand/plot/tree data in the field, navigate to plots with GPS, and generate summaries/reports from your measurements.
Yes. The core workflow is designed to work offline. For maps/location, CruisePro uses iOS location services; your data entry and calculations are stored on your device.
Location permission is required for plot navigation and saving plot coordinates. You can still use some parts of the app without it, but location-based features won’t work.
Your cruise data is stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the app, the local data may be removed. (If iCloud backup/sync is added later, it will be managed via your Apple account.)

CruisePro is built for field work with a local-first storage approach. Location data is used only for plot navigation and (when you choose to save it) plot coordinates. No third-party ad/tracking SDKs are used.
